WPG Launches new WebGIS - March 20, 2018
WPG WebGIS allows you to access a geographic information system which can be used for planning and/or sharing with other people in your organization. Our mapping and database are from the open source community which allows us access to a wider range of tools and support than what is currently offered by the commercial products. To customize the website to fit your organization's needs contact Ryan Carter.

Western Plains Geomatics just went thru our 3 year COR audit late February 2018 with all of the teams hard work we have seen significant improvements in our safety processes and we received a 98% result. CORâ„¢ is aimed at driving positive workplace behaviour and practices that lead to improved performance. It is currently being used across Canada and is a pre-qualification requirement for many contractors working in and out of the province and on public- and private-sector projects.
Ryan Carter Join WPG Team - Nov 1, 2017
Ryan Carter also joins us and will be pushing our technology forward implementing an online GIS. These new innovations will combine with our Autocad Technologies to improve our drafting and checking speeds along with giving our IT capabilities a significant boost.
Scott Slen ALS - Aug 9 2017
After completing a degree, articling, and passing numerous professional exams, Scott Slen is now officially an Alberta Land Surveyor! Land surveyors study land, water and air space to establish or re-establish boundaries. The information they gather is used to establish the location, limits and boundaries of road and highway alignments, well sites, land subdivisions and more.
